HRIC's 导师计划 began in 2014 to support the personal, 专业, 和 career-related development of faculty 和 staff members as they navigate significant transitions in knowledge, 工作与思考. Mentoring is a developmental 和 mutually beneficial relationship in which all DU employees are welcome 和 encouraged to participate.

  1. Prospective mentors must first submit a 导师应用程序.

  3. Current mentors will be contacted when a prospective protege requests working with them.

Establishing the Mentoring Relationship

  1. Both parties will be contacted once a match is confirmed.
  2. The mentor 和 protege must first participate individually in training via Talent@DU (Pioneer@Work.)

The following guidelines must be discussed 和 agreed upon by both parties at the beginning of their first meeting. This common underst和ing helps establish the framework for your mentoring relationship.

  • View the 导师计划指引
    • The mentor/protege relationship is voluntary 和 should be beneficial for both parties.
    • It is recommended that you meet a minimum of three times during a three-month period (if possible). How, where, 和 when you meet is up to each mentoring team.
    • The mentor's advice 和 opinions are their own 和 do not necessarily represent those of the 正规赌博十大平台排行.
    • It is the responsibility of the protege to drive this process. This means underst和ing what you hope to accomplish with a mentor, initiating meetings 和 asking for what you need.
    • It's imperative to spell out expectations around confidentiality 和 trust in relation to your mentoring relationship.
    • Keep your commitments to each other. Show up for scheduled meetings on time 和 notifying each other of cancellations ahead of time.
    • Include a "no-fault" provision for ending the mentoring relationship.
    • Define what a successful mentoring relationship looks like for both parties.
    • Prepare to enjoy the mutual benefit of participating in an intentional 专业 development experience.
